For two days in Shanghai, the financial industry’s top practitioners gathered together with policy makers and the world’s most influential academics on the subject of how China is taking its place in the world’s economic and financial system.
SWIFT, the SWIFT Institute, University of California San Diego’s 21st Century China Program and Fudan University’s Financial Research Center joined hands in organising an international conference on “China’s Emergence in International Finance” on July 10-11, 2013. This conference was a huge success with more than 250 delegates and 46 speakers engaged in dialogue over two days on topics ranging from RMB internationalisation to financial reform in China to China-US relations.
